Hello,

I would like to report an incident involving an admin named Ralsei on the LOOS community server (IP: 205.178.177.24:27027) in the Saxton Hale gamemode.

The situation began when a player was kicked twice by Admin Ralsei for allegedly being 10 years old. Ralsei stated that this action was in accordance with certain "policies," but when I asked multiple times for clarification on these policies, there was no response. Admin Ralsei also never logged back into the server after this interaction.

It is concerning that an admin would enforce rules without offering any explanation or transparency regarding the specifics of these policies. The lack of clarity around player age as a potential policy violation is troubling and leaves room for confusion and potential unfair treatment of players.

I would appreciate further clarification on the community’s policies regarding player age and how they are enforced. It is important that admins provide clear and understandable reasoning for their actions to ensure fairness and transparency.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello,

In regards to this issue I do not have any explanation. It seemed in chat that the players were OK with me removing him from the game, hence enforcing the players' vote. I do apologize for what I have done and action that has been taken against the player. The player has not been banned from LOOS servers, nor ever will be.

Hello Ralsei,

Thank you for your response and the apology. However, I would still appreciate some clarification regarding the policies that led to the action being taken, particularly with regard to player age. I understand that you mentioned the decision was based on players' votes, but it’s unclear how age was involved in this case.

Could you kindly provide more information on whether age is considered a violation of server policies? If so, it would be helpful to have the specific guidelines shared with the community so that everyone can understand and follow them clearly moving forward.

Again, I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a better understanding of how these policies are enforced.

Thank you.

Thank you for your response,

From what I have been told, players have the decision on if a player should be removed from the server or not. There is currently no age policy on LOOS' servers, but it should be taken into consideration that TF2 is rated as a teen game. Age was not a deciding factor in the removing of the player, and it most likely never will be.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Players have reported that particular player for AFKing/Friendly multiple times in our system. Team Fortress 2 is a rated M game and it has been since 2007. Players in any server will report such things as these and we're doing our best to upkeep our community's integrity. As for this report, excuse our three new moderators few lack critical decision making as some of them have been trained. If you have concerns about our moderators abusing power relay those reports to Lanko or me. I am responsible for teaching them.

Thank you for your response. The situation has been dealt with, and the admin has apologized for their mistake, which is all I ever wanted. Humans make mistakes, none of us are perfect, and that’s completely understandable.

I do appreciate the steps being taken to ensure better decision-making from the new moderators, and I trust that this will contribute to a better experience for everyone in the community. If any future issues arise, I’ll be sure to follow up through the proper channels.

Thanks again for your time and attention to this matter.
