There will be an event on Saturday, December 27th, 2025 at 1 PM EST or 18:00 UTC, for who can do the most damage to Saxton Hale or the Countess boss, the top 3 damage dealers will receive a prize provided in courtesy with collaboration from checkpaint.tf
My message from here on out acts as a referendum for both things that will occur after the event, and things to keep in mind during.
1: the Rock Paper Scissors taunt is disabled during the event, as it would mess with damage totals, attempting RPS with the boss will just result in the taunt being canceled with no effect, a later vote in our Discord server will occur if players want this to stay for the future and us to reinstate the !taunt command in conjunction, or leave it how it was before the event. The Top 3 damage to the boss leaderboard is another potential vote that may happen in the future as well if it should stay.
2: Any existing changes to LOOS VSH are still in place, No Extender, Pyro's Airblast still doesn't stun lock Hale, Spy still cannot disguise (aura exploit fix), and Cloak and Dagger acts like the stock Watch, these are fixes that are in place for the foreseeable future until the game mode developer gets around to initiating fixes officially.
And last but not least, Thanks to Bradasparky and checkpaint.tf's coder, Pika, for assisting with the scripts and coding that will help us with the event.
